Betting company settled my bet as a win. Now demanding money back?
I recently won a small amount of money ~£300 from a football bet. The bet was Player X to score anytime, Player Y to score anytime. Player X scored and Player Z scored, the betting company thought Player Y scored so they settled my bet as a win and gave me the money. I withdrew the money and they emailed me hours later saying they need it back? Do I have to give it back? Can they take legal action? Thank you for any answers

My friend and I made a 100 dollar bet about 8 years ago that I just remembered. He bet that Tim Tebow would be inducted at some point to the pro football hall of fame and I bet that he wouldn’t. After we made the bet my friend informed me that you can technically be inducted into the HOF even after you die, so it was a stupid bet on my part and he’ll never have to pay me because there’s always a chance tebow will be inducted in the future. So, I was wondering if there are any other restrictions for the HOF that would make tim tebow ineligible to begin with (length of time in nfl, post career decisions, etc.) or is there no way to prove tebow won’t make it?
